3. Size is another factor to consider when shopping for outdoor water fountains. Think about where you will use your solar fountains and choose accordingly.
4. Barrel fountains are generally made of wood, so you will want to note the type of wood used in construction.
5. To keep water clean from algae, sludge, mineral deposits and other organic material, you will need to add water fountain cleaners to outdoor fountains. Be sure to read the label for proper usage and to make sure the clarifier is safe for animals, plants, and aquatic life.
